The show was great. Was very nice hanging with Pocket Player our HODer from Hawaii!

Tris was tight. Ferrone was LOUD. Ferraro was SOLID. I was blown away by their new funk version of "Josie" especially with Tim Pierce on guitar. That dude GROOVES. And their version of "After The Love Is Gone" just killed, especially with the great horn section.

DW supplied a new "vertical ply" kit that was beautiful. I think it would be great in the studio, but live it was a bit muddy.

All-in-all, very fun night.

Agreed LA Danny, amazing night of music. Next time remind me to where plugs...ringin' for three days now! I must say these where some of the nicest musicians around.

I was blown away by John Ferraro. Solid is an understatement. I feel he might be the closest I will ever come to hearing Jeff Porcaro live. You know a great time keeper when they lay down the simplest groove and you notice it! He is a musical drummer that plays for the song. That's his thing and he does it very well. And he is one of the most genuine cats around to boot.

I was thrilled to see Steve Ferrone live and up close. La Ve Lee is very intimate. Steve had to nudge me to get to the stage...and he has grown to be a very big boy! Good pasta overseas I guess. [img]wink.gif[/img]

John Pena was also so genuine. Brandon Fields played the BEST solo I've ever heard in my life. He was beyond amazing. Garfield said, "Hey, is Brandon in the house? Come on up." I feel that I witnessed greatness watching that solo. Larry Klimas was also amazing. What a sound he gets!

Great night! LA Danny is one cool cat as well.
